Providing personal data is an act of trust and it is taken seriously. Unless given explicit consent to do otherwise and/or otherwise permissible by and/or required by law, Effex will only collect and use personal data as set out below.
Collection of Personal Data
Effex does not collect personal data beyond the limited data Effex needs to perform services to its Customers.
Effex collects personal data provided directly by the Customer when the Customer contacts Effex, fills in any forms, request for goods or services or contact Effex with any questions.
Effex may automatically collect certain information about Customer’s computer device, browsing activities, statistical information, information on visits and use of Effex’s website. Effex may receive certain data automatically collected by its software, for example: IP address, cookies data, performance specifications of the customer’s hardware and software, date and time of access to the Website, the URL of the page requested. This information is aggregated to provide statistical data about Customer’s browsing actions and patterns, and does not personally identify individuals.
Effex will only collect and process personal data about Customer where Effex has lawful bases. Lawful bases include consent (where Customer has given consent), contract and “legitimate interests”.
Where Effex relies on Customer’s consent to process personal data, Customer has the right to withdraw or decline consent at any time and where Effex relies on legitimate interests, Customer has the right to object. Use of Personal Data
Personal data will be collected, held, used and disclosed for the following primary purposes jointly and/or severally:
* for the purposes for which it was collected;
* to provide Customer with services requested, complete transactions, and address Customer’s inquiries;
* to contact Customer about services, transaction or other matters;
* to provide Customer with newsletters via mail and e-newsletters;
* to process any requests, complaints and applications;
* to record statistical data for marketing analysis and to conduct market research;
* to share personal data with Effex trusted third parties in the manner described below.
The Customer understands that the personal data is available and accessible by Effex employees who need to come into contact with that information to provide services to Customer or in order to do their jobs.
Disclosure of the Personal Data
Effex does not disclose the personal data to any third parties except for:
* Service Providers engaged by Effex to perform some functions on behalf of Effex;
* legal and regulatory authorities;
* Effex employees.
Effex engages Service Providers to perform some functions on its behalf, including, but not limited to, data entry, database management, promotions, products and services alerts, analysing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links, and providing user service, payment processors, market professionals (the “Service Providers”). These Service Providers are under a duty of confidentiality to Effex and are only permitted to use the personal data in connection with their functions and not for their own purposes.
Customer’s Ability to Edit Personal Data
Customer may access its personal data held by Effex to correct, update and remove inaccurate or incorrect data. Each Customer has the following rights:
- delete some or all personal data that Effex holds about such Customer;
- change or correct Customer’s personal data that Effex holds about such Customer;
- object to, or limit or restrict, use of personal data;
- right to access and/or take personal data: any Customer can ask for a copy of personal data in machine readable form.
If Customer wants his/her personal data to be corrected, updated or removed, please contact Effex at email@example.com.
Effex retains Customer’s personal data for as long as it is necessary or as needed to provide Customer with the services. If the Customer no longer wants Effex to use his/her personal data, the Customer may withdraw his/her consent. However, Effex may retain the personal data as necessary to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
Merge of Company
From time to time Effex may send Customer messages that are service-related and required for users, including newsletters and other alerts. Effex may also send emails relating to Customer’s transactions, about special promotions, and other news of Effex. Effex may also send news and updates about changes to its website, services and goods. Such messages may be sent internally, by email or by push notifications. Customer may choose to subscribe or unsubscribe from such news.
